International College of Hospitality Management

International College of Hospitality Management (ICHM) was founded in Shantinagar, Kathmandu in 2010 AD. The college is now housed at Pinglasthan, Gaushala. The major goal of the college is to meet the demand for skilled labour in the Nepalese market.

ABOUT

ICHM College is working toward a similar aim of producing talented workers with all of the essential skills and expertise to compete in the national and worldwide hospitality industry.

ICHM College provides a four-year bachelor's degree in hospitality management and a two-year MBA in hospitality management. We've also worked with a number of hotels in Nepal, India, China, Malaysia, Thailand, Qatar, and Dubai.

It has sent 90% of its students to work as interns in other countries. This is one of the advantages in terms of the opportunities available to the students at ICHM.

ICHM College was initially associated with Karnataka State Open University in Mysore, India, and Ministry of Education Nepal had approved it. It changed its associated university to Kerkrade, Netherlands-based International Teaching University of Georgia. The Ministry of Education Nepal gave the approval on November 26th, 2019.

Examination Criteria

Examination is the final criteria to upgrade students to next level. In a semester of 6 months, students need to testify with 3 set of examinations.

Unit Test (Conducted in every 15 Lecturer Hour)
Pre Board (Conducted after completion of 45 Lecturer Hour)
Board Examination (Theory+ Practical after completion of whole course)

Admission Guidelines

Qualified individuals who meet the University's eligibility standards are given admission to the Bachelor's degree program.

Passed a recognized board/Intermediate university's or Higher Secondary Examination (of twelve years' formal education in any stream: Humanities, Management, Science, Engineering, or Technology) with a minimum score of 60 percent in any two subjects and minimum 45 percent in English. Or,
Passed GCE 'A' Level with a minimum GPA of 'B' or above.
