A Bachelor's in Computer Application (BCA) is an undergraduate degree course in computer applications. With the rapid growth of the IT industry in Nepal, the demand for computer professionals is increasing day by day. Bachelor's in Computer Application (BCA) is one of the most popular courses among students who want to make their career in the IT (Information Technology) field. The duration of the course is 4 years and is divided into 8 semesters. It comprises subjects like database, networking, data structure, and core programming languages like 'C' and 'Java'. Objective
The objective of the BCA program at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of Tribhuvan University is to produce high-quality computer application users and developers.
Eligibility for Admission
The candidate applying for the BCA program must have:
- Completed twelve-year schooling or equivalent from any University, Board, or Institution recognized by Tribhuvan University.
- Secured a minimum of second division (45%) or a minimum C grade in all subjects in the twelve-year schooling or equivalent. Secured a minimum CGPA of 2.0.
