​KU announces admissions in Masters by Research in Energy and Infrastructure Law

Kathmandu University School of Law (KUSL) at Dhulikhel announces opening of admission to its 2 - year full time Masters by Research in Enersoi and Inkasinichire Law degree course.

The programme is spread over four semesters during which the students pursue 9 credits of coursework and 21 credits of legal research under the supervision of the designated supervisor-is. The degree meets all requirements of the postgraduate law course and aims at developing legal expertise in the area of energy and infrastructure law focusing on hydropower and energy infrastructure issues in Nepal.

Study of this course will enable the law students to develop a competitive edge for them in this area.

Eligibility: Nepalese nationals with a three year Bachelor's Degree in 1.aw or equivalent integrated BA,LL.B or BBM,LL.B degree with a minimum of 50 percent in aggregate or 2.5 CGPA on a scale of 4.0 from the universities recognized by Kathmandu University.

Note: An undergraduate law student who has completed the qualifying educational level but is awaiting the final results may apply on a provisional basis, provided he/ she has already taken the last semester or final annual examination of the program and passed all previous year/ semester papers with required minimum percent.

The last date for the submission of Research Proposal along with completed Application Form and required documents is Thursday 31 August 2017.
