Eligibility
- A minimum of a second division is required in the field of law at the master's level.
- For individuals achieving a second division, two years of work experience are mandatory, while those with a first division require one year of experience. Those who have obtained a distinction do not need any prior experience.
- Additionally, candidates must have published a minimum of two peer-reviewed research articles in a reputable journal.
Required Documents
- The Ph.D. research scholar must be a full-time student. Hence, they must provide a letter of leave approval issued by the institution's Chief or department head.
- Notarized copies of the LL.M. transcript and degree certificate, citizenship certificate, and character certificate are also required.
- Furthermore, a photocopy of the equivalency certificate from Tribhuvan University (T.U.) is necessary for degrees obtained from foreign universities.
- Candidates must have at least two peer-reviewed research articles published in reputable journals. However, if more than two articles are submitted, only two will be evaluated.
- Additionally, three copies of experience certificates and a resume are needed.
Additional Information
- Applicants wishing to submit their admission application form are required to make a total payment of Rs. 13,000. This includes a Rs. 3,000 fee for the application form, a Rs. 5,000 fee for the Entrance Test, and a Rs. 5,000 fee for the evaluation of articles.
- The original payment voucher must be provided after depositing the specified amount into Current Account Number: 21700100192434000001 at Nepal Bank Limited, Office of the Dean, Faculty of Law. Failure to meet these criteria, submit the necessary documents as instructed, or submit the application after the deadline will result in the application not being considered.
- The Entrance Test carries a total of 100 marks, consisting of 80 marks for the written test, 10 marks for article evaluation, and 10 marks for the interview.
