The Central Department of Psychology at Tribhuvan University, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, announces admission for the MPhil leading to PhD in Psychology for the academic year 2081 (2025).

Admission Details for MPhil / PhD

• Deadline for Regular Admission Form Submission: Falgun 20, 2081.
• Deadline for Late Admission Form Submission with Double Fee:  Falgun 21 to 24, up to 12 AM.
• Mphil Entrance Exam: 2081 Chaitra 02 (Saturday, 1 PM).

Eligibility Criteria:

• Minimum 2nd division or 3.0 CGPA in the following streams:
  1. Humanities and Social Sciences:
     • MA in Clinical Psychology/ IO Psychology
     • MA/M.Sc in Counseling Psychology
  2. Medicine (IOM):
     • MD in Psychiatry
     • MN/M.Sc in Psychiatric Nursing
• The Master's degree must be from a university recognized by Tribhuvan University.

Application Process:

1. Access the Application Form:
   • Visit https://entrance.tufohss.edu.np/
2. Register:
   • Select "New Students Registration," fill in the required details, and complete the registration.
   • An OTP will be sent to log in and complete the application.
3. Select Preferred College:
   • Choose your preferred college during the application process.
4. Pay Entrance Fee

•  
  • Regular form fee: Rs. 5,000 (via Khalti or e-sewa through the portal)
  • Late submission fee: Rs 10,000

Entrance Exam Details:

• Total Marks: 100
• Question Format: Subjective based on the Master's level syllabus.

Required Documents :

• SLC Marksheet/Character Certificate (3 copies)
• +2 Transcript and Character Certificate (1 copy)
• Bachelor's Transcript and Character Certificate (2 copies)
• Master's Transcript and Character Certificate (1 copy)
• Citizenship Certificate (1 copy)

Class Schedule:

Classes will be conducted in the evening shift at the University Campus premises.
