The Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt announced that applications are now open for international students who wish to pursue higher education degrees (graduate and postgraduate) in Egypt for the Academic Year 2023/2024. This opportunity is part of the esteemed "Study in Egypt" global initiative, which aims to promote Egypt as a leading destination for international students. This initiative is unique in its international scope and highlights the exceptional quality of higher education in Egypt, along with the transformative opportunities it provides.

Key Dates
- The first phase of applications will be available from June 23, 2023, to September 15, 2023.
- The second phass, specifically for students interested in credit hour programs and special programs, will be open from December 1, 2023, to December 31, 2023.
Eligibility
To be eligible, students must meet the minimum requirements listed below:
The minimum admission threshold for the remaining faculties and institutes in both the scientific and social sciences departments has been established at 55%.
Admission Procedures
- Students are required to apply through the "Study in Egypt" platform website, which can be accessed HERE.
- Students must upload copies of the necessary documents on the website.
- Students are allowed to select their preferred colleges (up to 10 choices).
- Within a maximum of 14 days from the date of nomination, students must pay the service fees, including coordination, qualification, university enrollment, and club membership. Failure to pay the service fees will result in electronic admission coordination on September 15, 2023.
- After nomination, the student must submit the original file to the university (or their authorized representative or the student's embassy) no later than September 30, 2023, without any additional fees.
- Students nominated for admission to private higher Institutes, technical institutes, health Institutes, academies, technological colleges, and students nominated on grants from the Presidency of the Republic and the Egyptian Agency of Partnership for Development (EAPD) should submit their files through the student (or their legal representative via the student's embassy or express mail) to the Central Administration for International Student Affairs. The Central Administration for Student Affairs will issue the digital statement.
- If the data in the student's original file is found to be incorrect, the nomination will be canceled, and the student will not be entitled to a refund of any fees paid.

- Copy of the passport or refugee card.
- Copy of the birth certificate.
- Personal photos (7 photos).
- Aptitude test result (for colleges that require this test).
