In an effort to contain novel coronavirus (COVID-19) the government of Nepal imposed a national wide lockdown from 24 March. Due to this all the educational institutions of the country are closed and academic of the students are affected. There is still uncertainty on when the lockdown will end and when these educational institutions will reopen.

It seems like distance learning is the only way to facilitate learning among the students. Nepal College of Management (NCM), one of the popular management colleges of Nepal started offering online classes for the students of BBA and BHM programs immediately after the lockdown.

There are many differences between a traditional campus-based education and virtual (distance) learning but students can continue their academic learning with the help of distance learning. This will help students maintain their focus and achieve their career goals. Along with academics students are also learning many digital skills which will also help them in the future.

Students can access the courses from anywhere if they have a good internet connection and computer or any digital device. Students are also given assignments, and projects through virtual means. They can also participate in discussions with classmates and faculties.
