Biratanagar, Feb 2 (RSS): Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Education Gopal Man Shrestha has opined for establishing at least one polytechnic school in each province.
Speaking in the second assembly of Rotary Nepal Literacy Mission and Wash in School organized by Rotary International District 3292 Nepal-Bhutan Chapter in Biratnagar on Friday, DPM Shrestha shared that government and Rotary International had reached some agreements for quality education.
He further shared that the government has given permission to 222 schools across the country as the model schools.
Chief of Rotary International Nepal Sanjay Giri, Rotary Nepal Literacy Mission Chairman Tirtha Man Shakya, Purbanchal University Vice Chancellor Ghanashyam Lal Das, Biratnagar Metropolitan City Mayor Bhim Parajuli and Rotary India Literary Mission Chair Shekhar Mehata among others focused on quality education.
