NELTA announces vacancy for Access Teachers

English Access Microscholarship Program (Access) provides a foundation of English language skills to talented 13-20 year-olds from economically disadvantaged sectors through after-school classes and intensive sessions.

Access gives participants English skills that may lead to better jobs and educational prospects. Participants also gain the ability to compete for and participate in future exchanges and study in the United States. Since its inception in 2004, approximately 95,000 students in more than 85 countries have participated in the Access Program. Access program in Nepal is being administered by Nepal English Language Teachers' Association (NELTA) since 2011 and more than 400 students have graduated from the program.

We are looking for four Access teachers for Lalitpur Access Center for a two-year period.

Qualification: Bachelor degree in English.

Experience: Three years of English language teaching in lower secondary or secondary level:

Minimum time to spend In teaching: 6 hours a week;

Priority will be given to those candidates with good computer skills in MS Office package, E-mail, Internet, Skype, Goggle Hangout and social media), fluency in English language communication and who are also NELTA life-members. NELTA has equal opportunity policy for female and male candidates.
