The Millennium Challenge Account Nepal (MCA-Nepal) invites applications for the role of Internal Control/Compliance Specialist. MCA-Nepal is a Government of Nepal agency managing a USD 697 million infrastructure program co-funded by the US Government's Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Compact grant and the Government of Nepal's contribution. The program aims to enhance the availability and reliability of electricity, maintain road quality, and facilitate power trade to stimulate investments and accelerate economic growth. The Internal Control/Compliance Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in tasks related to internal compliance, audit planning, and risk management.
Eligibility:
- Bachelor's Degree (minimum) from a recognized institution in Accounting, Banking & Finance, Commerce, Finance, Financial Control, Business Administration, Business Management, or equivalent.
- CA or CPA certificate is a plus.
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive professional experience in managing finance functions, preferably in international development, donor, or governmental organizations.
- Knowledgeable about taxation issues, especially those relevant to projects.
- Excellent command of English and Nepali languages, both written and spoken.
