Nick Simons Institute (NSI) is an organization working in the field of rural healthcare, bringing innovative solutions to the the related problems  through different training programs to support  healthcare workers with the government of Nepal. 

NSI has been working with the Ministry of Health (MoH) for the effective application of its programs. NSI is seeking for suitable candidates for the following positions:

MD in General Practice (MDGP) NSI Supported Government Hospital One Year (Renewable) 4 MD in General Practice and Emergency Medicine graduated with valid NMC registration. Competent in surgery, energetic, and ready to work in a rural setting in a district hospital.

Work in an NSI-supported government hospital as a Clinical Coordinator.

Perform C-section and other emergency surgeries/

Provide day-to-day clinical services.

Manage obstetric complications.

 
Medical Officer NSI Supported Government Hospital One Year (Renewable) 1 MBBS with valid NMC registration. Competent in-patient care, sincere, energetic, and ready to work in a rural setting in a district hospital.

Work in an NSI supported government hospital as a Medical Officer.

Provide day-to-day clinical services to patients.

Conduct deliveries and identify obstetric complications and manage accordingly.

Advanced Skill Birth Attended (ASBA) training.
Staff Nurse NSI Supported Government Hospital One Year (Renewable) 2

Provide day-to-day nursing care to patients.

Conduct normal deliveries and identify obstetric complications and manage accordingly.

Work with hospital surgical team as an Operation Theater (OT) nurse.

Skilled Birth Attended (SBA) & Operation Theatre Technique Management (OTTM) training.

At least 1 year of previous work experience

Experience in OT skills.

 
Biomedical Equipment Technician NSI Supported Government Hospital One Year (Renewable) 2 Diploma in Biomedical Equipment Engineering (DBEE) from recognized school.

Work as a BME Technician and establish a biomedical maintenance unit with required office and workshop.

Ensure all biomedical equipment of the working hospital is in a functional state.

Conduct preventive and maintenance of equipment and keep an inventory up to date.
