2012 SOUTH ASIA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
FOR GRADUATE LEVEL STUDY IN INDIA
The Open Society Foundations is pleased to announce the South Asia Scholarship Program. OSF invites applications for scholarships where fellows will be placed at universities in India for two-year graduate programs beginning in July 2012 and concluding in May 2014.
The participating host universities and degrees are as follows:
- The Energy Resources Institute in New Delhi (www.teriuniversity.ac.in)
MA in Sustainable Development Practice
- Tata Institute for Social Sciences in Mumbai (www.tiss.edu)
MA in Counseling
The application deadline is 5 January 2012
Applicants for each of the programs should have completed Bachelors degree and be proficient in English. Each scholarship provides 2 year’s tuition fees, a stipend to cover living costs (for one person only), one trip home during the program, insurance, pre-academic training and participating in annual fellow’s conference. On completion of the scholarship, scholars will return to their home countries. Applicants will be expected to be both nationals of and resident in Nepal.
