Kathmandu, 20 Jestha (RSS): Senior leader of Nepali Congress Ram Chandra Poudel said technical education is necessary for making a prosperous nation.
On the one-day training programme named ‘Importance of technical education for building prosperous Nepal and future plans’ organized by Nepal Students Union Technical Student Council, senior leader Poudel said, “Nepal is a rich country in natural resources and if we can bring technology here, the country will be prosperous.”
Senior leader Poudel also said, “Technical Education is important for the development of agriculture, tourism, and energy sectors of Nepal.”
Poudel also said that there is no alternative to correct the weakness inside the party and move forward. He also pointed the need for Congress to improve itself to move forward the politics of the country on the right path.
Congress leader Deepak Khadka said that the technical education is important in the context of Nepal. “Technical education should be implemented from primary level,” he added. Mr. Khadka also told that the human resource going abroad will decrease only if technical education is implemented all over the country.
Former president of Student Union Ranjit Karna said that the technical education is the foundation of the development of the nation and insisted that one must apply what is learned.
“Several countries of the world are developed because of technical education, Nepal also should take technical education significantly,” he added.
President of Nepal Students Union Technical Student Council, Mr. Arjun Bam said that he believes that Nepal Students Union will play an important role to manage technical education.
Nearly 200 students studying in educational institutes affiliated to CTEVT participated on that one-day training programme.
