​ Micro syllabus for vocational and technical education programme developed

Bhaktapur, May 15 (RSS): Micro syllabus has been developed targeting a three-year bachelor level programme under the technical and vocational education stream for all technical schools nationwide. 

According to Forum for Health and Technical Science's central chair Kashyap Poudel, suggestion from 300 experts of technical education were collected in coordination of the Curriculum Division at the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training, Sanothimi, in course of developing the syllabus. 

Their suggestions and views were sought on nursing, general medicine, health assistant, pathology, radiography, agriculture, veterinary, civil and electrical engineering issues. 

The proposed syllabus has been handed to the CTEVT for implementation and it is expected to be greatly helpful for technical students, said Federation of Private Technical Schools' central vice chair Ram Poudel. "Micro syllabus helps teachers and students understand technical and vocational issues minutely." 

In view of CTEVT vice chair Dr Kul Bahadur Basnet, current fiscal year's budget has given top priority to the technical and vocational education and it is the responsibility of all to make it success.
