Janakpurdham, June 2 (RSS): Future of students, employees and doctors at the Janaki Medical College based in Ramadaiya Bhawadi in Janakpurdham has been uncertain due to alleged negligence of the college management.
College employees and doctors have complained that they have not been paid for the past 14 months and the college has not deposited their provident fund for the past 50 months.

The college employees have staged a sit-in by closing all college activities. The students are worried about their future as they could not sit for exams scheduled from today due to the agitation. The college has 450 employees and the number of students is 360.

Speaking at a press meet organised by the Employees Rights Protection Struggle Committee here Friday, Dr Birendra Jha accused the college management of not becoming serious towards the future of students and its staffs.
The college owes to Rs 160 billion to the Prabhu Bank Limited and it has not paid tax to the government as well.

According to Jha, college principal, medical director and other members on the Board of Directors have gone out of contact, and in this situation, interference from the federal government was needed to address the problem, he said.
