Engineering

Engineering is one of the most popular courses among students pursuing higher education in the science field. A bachelor's degree in engineering can lead to a variety of job opportunities. Students can pick from a variety of engineering fields to see which ones interest them.

Engineering is the application of scientific concepts to the design and construction of machines, structures, and other objects such as bridges, tunnels, roads, vehicles, and structures, such as bridges, tunnels, roads, cars, and buildings. The discipline encompasses a wide range of subfields including Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, Spatial Engineering, Computer Engineering, and so on.

Basic engineering education began in Nepal in 1942. Professional engineering education, on the other hand, began in 1951 with the establishment of Nepal Engineering School, which provided a two-year overseer's program. The first group of overseers graduated in 1961. After the foundation of Nepal Engineering College in 1994, however, engineering education grew at a rapid pace. A single Civil Engineering curriculum has grown to more than 15 distinct options.

Nepal is in the midst of re-building several of its infrastructures, as well as constructing new ones. To accomplish projected development, a large amount of engineering manpower is essential. Also, Nepal is steadily transitioning to a service-based economy, which is increasing the demand for technical personnel with expertise in IT and computer engineering. By 2022, it is expected that about 40,000 more Engineers would be required to work in these emerging industries.

Engineering education in Nepal will always be one of the most sought after degrees under such conditions, since its appeal is unlikely to go away anytime soon.
