Turbine Testing Lab (TTL) is undertaking several projects including "Francis turbine for sediment laden waters (FranSed)" funded by Norwegian Research Council and "Capacity and competence development for introducing Francis Turbine in Nepalese Micro Hydropower Projects" funded by EnergizeNepal Project. The projects will create the technical basis for successful future industrial developments by performing well-focused research and innovation activities on the key bottlenecks Of hydropower units that restricts their operating range due to high sediment concentration in the water.
Application from qualified, hardworking and result oriented professionals is hereby invited for the following positions:

Major Responsibilities: To carry out necessary research activities to fulfill the objectives of the respective project which includes site visits and sediment sample collection, mineral content analysis, design and drawings of Francis turbines, support for manufacturing, installation/testing of turbines, instrumentation works and documentation.
Minimum qualification and experiences: A four years of undergraduate in Mechanical Engineering. Preferences will be given to candidates with some years of experience in the field of hydropower sector, or candidates with Master's degree in relevant field.
