V.S Niketan has highly qualified and experienced Faculties with wide exposure in the related fields. Most of these members are devotees of education, teaching and learning for a couple of decades. V.S. Niketan believes that the faculty members run the program effectively to achieve the goal of the college.

Students counseling and welfare

The career advisory service at V.S. Niketan offers help in developing higher education skills, meet academic objectives as well as counseling service to students in order to help them through their days at V.S.Niketan S.S./College as well as preparing them for higher studies within the country and abroad. Every student is assigned a counselor, who maintains regular contact with students to ensure that things are going well. 

ECA and Co-curricular Activities

Students enjoy a number of indoor and outdoor games. Major emphasis is given: 
* Games (Basketball, Table Tennis, Cricket, etc). 
* Cultural activities: Open talent show, Welcome and Farewell Program. 
* Literary: Poem recitation, Essay competition, Debate, Elocution, Quiz/ Speech, etc. 
* Biology Excursion, Industrial visit, Village survey tour, etc.

Library and Documents

V S Niketen S. S. / College provides a well-equipped library facility for the students covering their course as well as reference materials. It serves various journal and magazines for the students to enhance their learning experience.

Hostel Facilities 

On request of parents/guardian VSN provides well accommodated separate hostel for boys and girls with all the facilities required for the students to pursue their academic career. The hostel is properly monitored and supervised by hostel warden (who themselves are the in-charge of college) as well as a qualified subject teacher. 

Transportation

The institution provides transport facility to students by picking them from their places and dropping them back in order to save time and trouble, especially for the morning shift students.

Seminars/ Workshops/ Report Writing

V.S. Niketan students regularly organize seminars/workshops/report writing/field visit with the support of faculties to enhance their learning and growth. 

Field Visits

V.S Niketan will organize field visits intending to expose students with the realities of Nepal based commerce, industry and management practices. Educational tour/excursion will be organized to broaden the knowledge of the students as per the requirements.

V.S.Niketan “Spotlight” is a yearly melting pot of young talents from V.S. Niketan covering all Science, Management & Humanities Streams. It is a unique opportunity where students from Science block put on their “Scientist cap” and students from Management & Humanities their respective cap. It is a yearly event, which we hope, will foster the true “person” in our students; and showcase their Inventive/Managerial talents to open masses.

For Ten Plus Two Programs

Admission form : If a candidate is eligible, then he/she should fill up the admission form by visiting college front desk. Candidate should submit his/her filled up admission form including his/her mark sheet, character certificate, transfer certificate and 2 copies of photos. He/She will then get notified by college for entrance examination date.

Eligibility:

The following qualifications may meet the admission requirements:

For Science

• At least GPA “B” in S.E. Exam
• Good English background
• Must qualify the written exam and oral test.

For Management

• At least GPA “C” in S.E. Exam
• Good English Background
• Must qualify the written exam and oral test.

For Humanities

• At least GPA “D+” in S.E. Exam
• Good English Background
• Must qualify the written exam and oral test.

For BBA Program:

Eligibility:

Students must have passed Ten Plus Two or equivalent from a recognized Board or University with at least C Grade in all subjects. The prospective students may come from a variety of disciplines such as business education, science education and other fields of education like social science, medicine, engineering, liberal arts etc.

Enrollment Criteria:

The final decision on admission is taken on the bases of (a) scores of the admission tests administered by faculties (b) interviews and, (c) past academic performance of the applicants.

For EMBA program:

Eligibility:

An applicant must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized institution & must have a minimum 2 years work experience at the supervisor or executive level in any organization or corporate sector. The final decision on admission is taken on the basis of scores of the admission test, interviews and quality of work experience of the candidate.

Fee Structure:

Considering the expectations of parents, V.S. Niketan has been providing quality education in reasonable and affordable fees. The fee structure will be made available from the college office at the time of admission.

For admission in Grade XI

V.S. Niketan always encourages excellent performance in various ways. The col­lege offers scholarship to the S.E.E. Top Graded students, Dalit and Scheduled Caste and other deserving and challenging students. Detailed information about scholarship scheme will be made available from the office at the time of admission.

Scholarship available for BBA Students

V.S. Niketan offers Free ship (waving of tuition fee) to the needy and brilliant students as per the policy of the college. University Board Examination result will be taken into account for this purpose. The 1^st topper will get 50% and 2nd topper will get 25% fee relieve for the coming semester. The student scoring 4 CGPA will be offered full scholarship in tuition fee.
