International Workshop on: Building Sustainable Communities: Leadership, Gender, and the Environment is going to held in Haifa, Israel from 30.11- 17.12 2015.
This workshop is going to organize by Israel’s Agency for International Development Cooperation - MASHAV and various agencies in In cooperation with United Nations Environment Program (UNEP).
During this workshop MASHAV/MCTC will share Israel's
best practices and experiences regarding sustainable
development and women's empowerment,
especially concerning ecological development, community
development, and leadership training for
Upon completion of the Workshop, the graduates will receive
a certificate confirming their attendance and active
participation in the Workshop.
The international workshop is designed for women and men community leaders, grassroots development officers, national and local government officers, and nongovernmental rural development practitioners.
Candidates are expected to have academic training or equivalent professional qualifications in re Language
The workshop will be carried out in English.
A good command of written and spoken English is essential.

Applications should be sent to the nearest Israeli mission serving the applicant's country. They must be submitted no later than 15/08/2015.

and to Ms. Shachar Re’em at MCTC: [email protected] evant subjects, with at least 5 years of practical experience.
They should be presently engaged in promoting sustainable living in their communities.

Accommodation Two people to a room.
Full Board Health Services Medical insurance covers medical services and hospitalization in case of emergency. It does not cover the treatment of chronic or serious diseases, specific medications taken by the participant on a regular basis, dental care, eyeglasses, or the period of pregnancy. The Health Authorities recommend that visitors to Israel make sure they have been inoculated against tetanus in the last ten years.

Travel International travel fares are the responsibility of the candidate or his/her sponsoring organization. Passports must be valid for the period of the seminar and include an entry visa into Israel. Booking The date and flight number of the booking to Israel must be confirmed to assure arrival before the opening of the Workshop on 30/11/2015.
