Management Training Program in Japan

Applications are invited for the following programs which will be organized by The Association for Overseas Technical Scholarship (AOTS), Japan with financial subsidy from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) of the Japanese Government.

The program will be implemented on cost-sharing basis. A participant will have to bear approx. Rs. 115,000/- to Rs. 125,000/- which will be less than 20% of the total cost and the rest will be borne by AOTS.

The Program for Quality Management (PQM)
Tokyo, 19 May-1 June 2011 (2 weeks)
(Participants should be, in principle, senior managers who are responsible for quality development and management as well as its improvement in their whole organization. Middle managers who are in key positions to promote TQM or expected to play the role above in the future may also be accepted.)
Last date for application submission – 9 March 2011.

The Training Course on Solving Human and Organizational problems (SHOP)
Aichi, 8 june-28 june 2011 (3 weeks)
(Participants should be, in principle, primary managers and / or middle managers in manufacturing companies.)
Last date for application submission -16 March 2011.

The Program for Quality Management Promotion (PQMP)
Yokohama, 15 June- 5 July 2011 (3 weeks)
(Participants should be, in principle, middle to senior managers who are responsible for quality improvement and / or quality management of their whole organization, with a basic knowledge of the seven QC tools.)
Last date for application submission- 25 March 2011.

The Production Management Training Course (PMTC)
Aichi, 29 June- 26 July 2011 (4 weeks).
(Participants should be, in principle, managers, supervisors and / or engineers/ staff who are engaged in the production control, productivity enhancement and day-to-day operation of factory management at manufacturing companies, etc. Those who are not engaged in actual production management, productivity enhancement activities and factory operation are ineligible for participants.)
Last date for application submission- 25 March 2011.

The applicants for the above programs should be Nepalese citizen of 30-55 years age (for SHOP, 30-50 years) with a university graduate and having more than 3 years of working experience in the related field.
