Vice-chancellor of Tribhuvan University vows to end TU irregularity, malpractice

Vice-chancellor of Tribhuvan University, Hira Bahadur Maharjan, on Saturday committed to ending all irregularities and malpractices reported inside the university.

Addressing a programme marking the 52nd anniversary of Ratna Rajya Laxmi (RR) Campus on Saturday, Maharjan said that the Tribhuvan University administration is seriously considering issues like the untimely publication of results, promoting temporary staff to permanent positions and increasing salaries. He stressed the need to work together to solve the problems associated with the university through coordination between staff and lecturers.

At the same function, Tribhuvan University Registrar Chandramani Paudel urged the government to increase investment in the education sector and called on all to help solve the problems facing the university.

Meanwhile, at the same programme, students who had excelled in the college’s various faculties were also felicitated.
