Nepal Medical council has published an urgent notice regarding Admissions in MBBS and BDS programs in various Medical and Dental Colleges as Ministry of Health and Population has directed not to implement the seats determined by Nepal Medical Council.
According to Highly placed source at MOHP, the recent decision of Nepal Medical Council to increase the quota of MBBS programs of various Medical colleges became controversial as the council earlier has cut MD/MS Seats of these Medical Colleges citing lack of infrastructure and faculty.
