The dean of the TU Education Faculty, Krishna Prasad Gautam has told that the result have been improved since the starting of the program. The dean’s office has organized a two days' conference on the semester program. TU had to face a lot of hurdles for the conduction of the semester program.

Dean Gautam has also infoemed that the students pass percentage has increased in the central campus itself from 25-30 to 80%. According to him, the rate of admission has however decreased.

The system has decreased the trend of getting admission for the sake of exam only. The students have to give the 80% attendance for being able to give the examination which has obliged them to be regular to the classes.

Currently, there are 20 constituent and 93 affiliated campuses under TU which run M.Ed. programs. The success of the semester program in the M.Ed will soon lead to the application of semester in the B.Ed. as well. The academicians and the concerned individuals of the education field hope that the semester system will bring the increased interaction between the students and the teachers and the regularity of the students will lead to the improved quality of the education and better results in the exams.
