Following the injunction ruling in Kathmandu Valley, Tribhuvan University has decided to postpone all examinations until further notice.
Due to the rising cases of the Covid-19 in the country, a meeting of the CCMC chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Ishwor Pokharel had agreed to recommend to the government that all exams be postponed beginning Baisakh 13, 2078. Tribhuvan University, on the other hand, had made the decision not to postpone the exams scheduled for Monday.
However, after the meeting between the Chief District Officers of Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur on Monday morning, preparations have been made to impose an injunction in the Kathmandu Valley from April 29.
All facilities in the Kathmandu Valley will be shut down except for critical services. There will be no private or public transportation available. Similarly, educational establishments, private offices, hospitals, bars, and party palaces are prohibited from operating.
