Kathmandu, March 27 (RSS): The Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation has made preparations to establish Tourism and Hotel Management institutions in each seven provinces in the country.
The Ministry has stated that it was preparing to upgrade the Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management (NATHM) into a university.
Speaking at a programme organized on the occasion of 45th anniversary of NATHM here in the capital today, Minister Rabindra Adhikari said that the Ministry was working to establish such institutions in all provinces aimed at producing skilled human resource in the sector.
He further stressed on promoting tourism as it was one of the important sectors to boost the national economy. Minister Adhikari also opined for improving and upgrading the services of airports in the country.
Similarly, NATHM executive director Durgadatta Dhakal committed to developing the institution as one of the best institutions in South Asia.
