Students on Friday vandalised the Mahendrangar-based Siddhanath Multiple Campus in Kanchanpur demanding regular classes. Despite their demand, the classes got disrupted today as well due to vandalism.
Protesting the strike in academic institutions, the students vent ire on two rooms in the campus that the Far-West University has been using, vandalising furniture at the lecturers’ office and the office of university coordinator Mukunda Kalauni.
The group is learnt to have resorted to vandalism after CPN-Maoist halted classes against detention of its cadre involved in disrupting services at a mobile service camp in Krishnapur on Thursday
