An interactive talk session titled 'The Use of Technology in Local Development' was concluded on 6th of April 2021 at Hotel Shangrila in Kathmandu. The event was organized by Research and Innovative Solutions Enterprises Nepal (RISE Nepal) .
The program was attended by start-up accelerators and incubators, civil society organizations, media, government and academia. The event also marked the signing of a memorandum of understanding between RISE Nepal and Propeller Technologies India to advance research and development for the design, promotion and provision of products and services related to robotics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and internet of things.
Presentations and discussions focused on how emerging technologies and innovations need to embrace the needs and realities of Nepal in supporting local development.
