Ghorahi, Aug 25 (RSS): A committee formed under the name of 'Save the Rapti Academy of Health Sciences (RAHS) Campaign' has sought the resignation of RAHS Vice Chancellor Dr Sangita Bhandari.
The committee formed voluntarily comprises people from different walks of life including rights activists. It has concluded that the Vice Chancellor's resignation was the need of hour.
A delegation headed by leading figure Bikiran Gautam today called on RAHS Registrar Ram Prasad Pyakurel and submitted a memorandum about this, 'clarifying' reasons for the same. They have accused the Vice Chancellor's role in the present situation of RAHS and of depriving the district people of proper medical facilities.
