Kathmandu, March 27 (RSS): Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli has said that he will enroll a child to a school during the coming children enrollment campaign aimed at eradicating illiteracy in the country.
Speaking at a programme organized by National Youth Council at PM's official residence at Baluwatar today, PM Oli said that he will enroll a boy or girl to a school at his own initiation on April 18.
He further added that other Ministers and lawmakers will also do the same to eradicate the illiteracy in the country.
Prime Minister Oli focused that the enrollment campaign will be of high importance as the government has aimed to end illiteracy within upcoming two years.
He further wished for enrolling the children from Mushahar and Dom Community as the literacy rate was poor in these communities. He further added that such campaign was inspirational to end the illiteracy therefore all should support the campaign.
On another note, Prime Minister Oli urged the youths to join hands in nation building mission.
The council vice chair Madhav Dhungel said that the council could be one of the supportive pillars to materialize PM's mission of prosperous nation.
