Over Rs 10 million collected for starting Master's course



Taplejung, Falgun 4: Over 10 million have been collected in the Mahayagya, for the postgraduate level classes to be conducted at Pathibhara Multiple Campus in Taplejung.

The Mahayagya which was conducted to conduct the Masters level program collected a total fund of Rupees 1 crore 85 lacs and 324 according to the financial report published on Wednesday.
Among the collected funds Rupees 75 lacs 15 thousand and 116 was already deposited in the bank and the rest Rupees 23 lacs 61 thousand and 368 rupees were left to be given by the donors who had included the name said Accounting Officer of the Campus, Matrika Prasad Nepal. Rupees 22 lakhs 45 thousand 268 were spent for the Mahayagya program. More than 1700 donors provided money in the Mahayagya. 

Meanwhile Campus Chief, Mohan Kumar Rai, informed that at the current probability for conducting the Post-graduate classes would be studied. After the study, the process for the launch of Masters level would begin on the basis of the analysis made. 

Likewise, chief of the Campus Operation Committee, Gajendra Tumhyang, said that the Post-Graduate program would be launched with the help and support from everybody. Tumhyang said that for the launch of the Post-graduate program initiative from the campus alone would not be enough and all the local level political parties, as well as concerned authorities, need to help. 

After 27 years of establishment, for the purpose of conducting postgraduate level classes, the Mahayagya was conducted from Magh 24 to Falgun 2 for the collection of funds to build the infrastructures.
According to the campus, the amount collected will be spent on construction of the building, e-library installation, electrical equipment etc. Founded in 2047, this campus has been teaching education, humanities and management at the undergraduate level.
