Bhaktapur, Nov 3 (RSS): Nepal Workers and Peasants Party chairman Narayan Man Bijukchhe has said that schools were the source of power for the revolution.
At a three-day assembly of the Nepal Revolutionary Teachers Association here Saturday, chair Bijukchhe argued that the students should be imparted training to strengthen and promote nationalism.
He also said each teacher should teach the students about patriotism and nationalism along with the curriculum. He argued that the teachers should analyse issues through the Marxist perspective.
Also speaking at the programme, party leader and parliamentarian Prem Suwal said though free and compulsory education was guaranteed in the constitution, people were being cheated with the existence of the private schools.
Similarly, Province-3 lawmakers Surendra Raj Gosain, Srijana Sainju and association central coordinator Gyan Sagar Prajapati had stressed on ensuring all with access to free education.
