Kathmandu, Sept 21 (RSS): Minister for Defense, Bhimsen Das Pradhan, has said there would not be party specific intervention in education sector as the country has already experienced a complete democracy.
At a programme organised by 'Saishik Abhiyan' fortnightly magazine here on Thursday, Minister Pradhan argued that party-specific intervention in education was unwarranted as the teachers and students have to involve in building prosperous and competitive society.
Similarly, lawmakers-Jagadishwor Narsingh KC and Ramhari Khatiwada- said that the Education Act (9th amendment) recently passed by the Parliament would end problems of temporary teachers.
On the occasion, some 15 personalities were honoured for their contribution to the education sector.
Prakash Silwal of RSS, Suprabhat Bhandari and Lakshya Bahadur KC, are among the honoured.
