Nepali law students selected for moot court competition in USA

Five students of Nepal Law Campus have been selected to take part in an international-level moot court competition in the US scheduled to be held next month.
 
The students were selected through a competition between the Nepal Law Campus and Kathmandu School of Law at a programme organized by the Forum for Women, Law and Development in association with the UNHCR.
 
A total of 10 students from both the campuses had taken part in the competition held for and against the environmental impact caused by migration, refugee problems, human rights and other issues.
 
With their win, the students would participate in the international-level moot court competition to be held in Washington DC of the USA on March 31. A total of 550 students from 80 different countries are taking part in the programme.
 
The winners are Sangram Sinkhada, Kundan Shah, Roshani Giri, Himal Koirala and Bilan Shrestha.
 
Former Secretary at the Ministry of Law and Justice Madhav Poudel, advocate Sapana Malla and representative of UNHCR Diane Goodman were members of the jury. RSS
