National Vigilance Centre (NVC) on Tuesday raided the Tribhuvan University Office of the controller of examination leading to seizure of bounced cheques worth around Rs 100,000.
A probe team had found the bounced cheques while investigating the examination fees of Tribhuvan University. “As there was no action against the erring institution, we are suspicious of Tribhuvan University officials’ involvement,” NVC officials said.
