A meeting with the aim to further strengthen the world-wide 'education for all' drive has begun here on Saturday.
Organised by the Global Partnership for Education (GPE), the four-day meeting was inaugurated by Minister for Education, Science and Technology Giriraj Mani Pokhrel amid a programme here on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, the minister said such a programme would help collect foreign funds for the development of country's education and ensure rights to education and bring into practice new technologies in education.
He also praised the GPE for carrying out development in Nepal's quality education, and helping bring the world-wide practice in education in Nepal. The meeting saw participation of the total 55 countries. So far, more than 70 countries including Nepal have received foreign aids as a member of the GPE.
