Kathmandu: Kathmandu Model College conducted its grand graduation program for the students of MA, MBS, BBA, BA and BBS. All the graduating students participated in the Graduation Ceremony on 28th January, 2020 at Hotel Yak & Yeti.
In the program dignitaries of KMC Education Network and Board of Directors, Faculty members, current last year students and college staff together celebrated the joy of achievement of the students. 154 students from Bachelor and Masters were graduated
Today, Kathmandu Model College (KMC) is one of the finest colleges in Nepal and is internationally recognized as a center for academic excellence, effective learning and teaching activities in the context of 21st century.
KMC stresses on a radical shift in educational practices from teaching to learning, from knowing to doing, exams to diversified assessments, degrees to disciplinary identity, and from classroom to culture.
During these academic years before graduation, students explored everything from management studies, finance, marketing, human resource, social work, literature, entrepreneurship to leadership in Nepal.
Almost all students participated in International Conferences, conducted seminars, developed and advised in different projects from both INGOs like UN and inspiring business entities.
Program Director (BBA/BBM) of the college Mr. Pradeep Parajuli, welcomed all the students and distinguished guests in the program. During these years of time all the students have achieved an academic qualification that will leap up the requirement of the present job market to pursue their career goals.
Some of the students have performed outstanding in their academia. Bibek Bhattarai from BBA, Saraswati Aryal from MA, Deepa Adhikari from MBS, Ashmita Dahal from BBS and Medhavi Paudel from BA were awarded with ‘KMC Excellence Award’.
Prof. Dr. Dili Raj Sharma, Dean Faculty of Management was present as Chief Guest of the program and shared to take up the new challenges for the entrepreneurial journey in near future.
He honored student’s excellence by providing them with graduation certificates. Mrs. Anupama Khunjeli, CEO Mega Bank spoke as key note speaker and wished all graduating students for their successful career and reflected the keys of financial sector of Nepal.
Faculties and all the management team were present in the graduation program where Chairman Mr. Surendra Subedi, closed the program by his valedictory closing speech.
