India donates books, ambulances and schools buses to Nepal



Kathmandu, Aug 15 (RSS): A special programme was organised at the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu on Wednesday to mark 72nd Independence Day of India. 

The national flag of India was hoisted on the occasion where Indian Ambassador to Nepal, Manjeev Singh Puri read out the message of congratulations sent by Indian President Ramnath Kobinda on the occasion of Independence Day. 

On the occasion, Ambassador Puri on the behalf of the India government donated books worth Rs 1.7 million to 68 libraries and educational institutions as well as handed over key of 30 ambulance and six buses to different hospitals, organisations and schools.
