December 3: Hrit Academy organized Educational Tour for the year 2076 in the month of December, 2019. The purpose of the visit was to introduce students to the lifestyle of the Nepalese living in Jomsom, Mustang.
Jomsom is at an altitude of about 2,700 m in Mustang District, Nepal. It is inhabited by the Thakalis community, one of the ethnic groups of Nepal who are preserving their own religion and culture. The tour was strategically initiated by Hrit Academy to facilitate the students to know and understand the real, multicultural world.
The students were thrilled and explored the places with great enthusiasm. Education tour is a much needed break from the hectic daily schedule and an opportunity for the teachers and students to bond with each other.
The visit proved to be a great learning experience for the students as it created awareness about different livelihood, language, food and traditions of the Himalayan belt of Nepal. Students expressed their gratitude towards the administration and faculty members of Hrit Academy for providing them with a wonderful opportunity to visit Jomsom, Mustang.
