Kathmandu, Sept 20 (RSS): President Bidya Devi Bhandari has said that the government should increase investment in education and health sectors as the nation achieved prosperity from the overall development of children.
At a programme organised here on Wednesday on the occasion of 57th anniversary of Shree Ganesh Secondary School at Budhanilkantha, President Bhandari stressed the need of quality and employment-oriented education by reforming school management.
He said that the state could not gain the expected results even after investing a huge amount of budget in education sector.
Similarly, lawmaker Gagan Thapa said that the government should increase investment in education sector to realize the dream of prosperous Nepal.
On the occasion, President Bhandari honoured lawmaker Thapa for his support in educational enhancement and physical infrastructure building of school.
