Govt cooperates with private sector progress country's education



Kathmandu, Dec 19 (RSS): President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Wednesday viewed that the government should collaborate with the private sector in progressing country's education. 

"Country's education will be progressed only through collaboration between public and private sector. The government should focus on it," said the president while participating in talks on current education situation of the country with the Higher Institutions and Secondary Schools' Association Nepal (HISSAN), the Private & Boarding Schools Organisation (PABSON) and the National Private & Boarding Schools' Association (NPABSON) office-bearers at Rastrapati Bhawan in Sheetal Niwas. 

On the occasion, former President of the NPABSON Gita Rana, former President of the HISSAN Umesh Shrestha and senior Vice President of the PABSON DK Dhungana univocally drew the attention of President Bhandari towards the failure to represent them in the government-formed high level education commission.
