Kathmandu: From the upcoming year, there will be the provision of an online system to fill up the examination and registration form of National Examination Board (NEB)
National Examinations Board has almost completed its system of submitting the form through the online process. After the implementation of this system, operators of public and private schools won’t have to reach to centers in order to fill the exam and registration form regarding chance examination.
The Board has made preparations to give the responsibility to the schools to fill up the information of students in an initial phase and later on it will be handed over to the respective students. Chairperson of the Board, Prof. Dr. Chandra Mani Pokhrel said, “ The work of choosing the company for the software development has reached its final stage.”
According to him after the implementation of the system, the students who are studying in grade 9, 10,11 and 12 will be able to fill the form online. “At present students have been filling the form at school and the school has been submitting to its respective centres. Now this work will be possible through the online system,” He added, “From the coming month of Shrawan, we will implement this system.”
Currently, there is the compulsion of public and private school teachers of rural area for submission of the exam form to the office of Examination Board. There is now a compulsion for the teachers of the community and private schools to submit the examination form of the students to the office of Examination Board. Even for the students who are giving the chance as well as regular examination for SEE, Grade 11 and Grade 12, there is a problem regarding the submission of the form to the centers and receiving the admit cards, also if there was even a single mistake the school officials had to visit the examination center.
The Board hopes that after the development of an online system, it will not be a tedious process like that of the manual system, it will be easier to keep the details safe and further time and money will be saved as well.
