Errors in Examinations conducted by Tribhuvan University



Kathmandu - First Semester students of M.Sc Physics at Tribhuvan University urged Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) and National Vigilance Centre for investigation regarding Quantum Mechanics question paper leak and questions asked out of the curriculum.

According to the examinees, the question paper was leaked before the examinations and a significant portion of the questions asked in the examination was out of the syllabus. Examinees said that the question paper was leaked 90 minutes before the examination from Mahendra Ratna Multiple Campus Tahachal. The examination was held on Poush 9, 2075. Examinees demand the reexamination of the same subject.

Dean Office gave validity to the examination after the Chairperson of the Subject Committee Binil Aryal sent a report stating that the questions were asked from the curriculum. 

42 out of 40 Full Marks

Erros were also found in the Marksheet issued by Office of Controller of Examinations, Tribhuvan University. A student of B.Sc First Year at Tri-Chandra College was given 42 marks out of 40 full marks in the Practical Examination of Geology. 

Errors were also found at the re-totaling results as well. An examinee got 3 GPA in Physics. After re-totaling the examinee got 3.3 at first and later 4 GPA.
