Kathmandu, June 10: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority has received the highest number of complaints related to the education sector in the fiscal 2017/18. .

Spokesperson for the CIAA Rameshwor Dangal said most of the complaints were related to irregularities in scholarship distribution, development of infrastructure and book procurement. The complaints are also related to irregularities in the appointment of temporary teachers. .
Dangal said the complaints related to MoFAGA included misuse of social welfare fund, appointment of temporary workers at the local levels and misuse of the fund provided for infrastructure development to the local governments..
