Minister for Education, Science, and Technology, Giriraj Mani Pokhrel, has been infected with coronavirus. Minister Pokharel was admitted to Patan Hospital with a fever on Saturday night, and tested positive for COVID-19 today.
Meanwhile, Minister Pokharel's secretariat has urged the people who came in contact with him to be vigilant and safe.
