Kathmandu, May 22 (RSS): Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Girirajmani Pokharel, and Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, Wu Hong, today discussed educational collaboration between the two countries.
They also discussed on other issues including scholarship for higher education and use of science and technology.
On the occasion, Minister Pokharel said that they have plan of moving ahead by maintaining uniformity of Nepali students studying medical education.
Pointing out the need of moving ahead through collaboration among universities, the Education Minister lauded the Chinese support for scholarship in medical and technical education, reconstruction of quake-damaged schools, technical and vocational training sector.
He also said that Nepal is expecting significant support in education sector during China visit of the Prime Minister in near future.
Similarly, Chinese Ambassador Hong said that relation between the two countries is stronger, saying the Chinese government was always ready to support in priorities area of the government of Nepal.
