Education and health service monopoly will also end -Home Minister



Kathmandu, May 28 (RSS): Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa has asserted that the monopoly prevailing in education and health sectors would be put to an end soon. 

At a meeting with students at his office in Singha Durbar on Monday, Minister Thapa pledged to work to ensure easy access of the citizens to education and health services and break syndicate system by taking action against the mafia indulging in these sectors. 

Earlier, the government had ended the syndicate system of transport sector and enforced a rule compelling different transport committees to get registered under the Company registration act. 

Minister Thapa made this commitment after a delegation headed by reshuffled ANNISU Chair Ashok Rayamajhi drew the minister's attention demanding well operation of education and health service sectors.
