A delegation of dignitaries from Emilio Aguinaldo College Manila, Philippines visited Pokhara University and had interaction with Pokhara University officials. The delegation was led by Dr Jose P Campos, President Emilio Aguinaldo College who was also an Honorary Counsel of Nepal for the Republic of the Philippines. Dr Valentino Baac, Vice President of Emilio Aguinaldo College who was also the Director for International Affairs and Dr Sergio Paguio, Dean School of Medicine, Emilio Aguinaldo College were accompanying him on the occasion.
In the interaction program Mr. Purna Chandra Sharma, Director, International relation, Pokhara University welcomed the guests whereas Dr. Suresh Prasad Bastola, Dean, Faculty of Science and Technology presented the overview of science and technology programs in Pokhara University followed by the presentation by Dr Jose and his team about the Emilio Aguinaldo College Manila. Then the officials of both institutions had bilateral discussions which concluded in the agreement of having academic relationships like student and faculty exchanges, research and development activities. Finally, Prof Dr Padam Bahadur Sahi, Assistant Dean, Faculty of Science and Technology, Pokhara University bided the vote of thanks.
The interaction program was emceed by Assoc. Prof G M Khan, Pokhara University whereas Prof Dharma Raj Shrestha, Prof Bishnu Raj Tiwari, Mr Niraj Chaudhary, Mrs. Kalpana Regmi, Mr Nabaraj Pandey, Mr. Manoj Singh, Mr. Sunil Regmi and Mr. Lok Prasad Dhakal from Pokhara University were also amongst the participants in the interaction program.
