School of Management, Tribhuvan University (SOMTU) jointly organized a Conference on Social Enterprise in Nepal with Hangdong Global University, South Korea. The conference had the participation of professors from Tribhuvan University and Hangdong Global University. Renowned personalities from the business sector were also present.
The program was inaugurated jointly by Prof. Dr. Mahananda Chalise, Director of SOMTU and Prof. Dr. Kee-Seon Yoo, Director, Joint International Education Program, Handong Global University, South Korea. The expert guests of the conference Mr. Suresh Pradhan (Vice President, South Asian Countries SME Forum- SAC SME Forum), Mr. Aarniko Rajbhandari (CEO, Nepal Dairy) and Ms. Shova Shakya (CEO, Manushi Microfinance) delivered keynote speeches.
Following the keynote speech, the 4th batch students for Master of Business Administration in Global Leadership & Management (MBA-GLM) presented their business plan in front of the panel and audience. The panel gave feedback to the students. Based on reviews and feedback of the experts, the students will be revisiting, improving and presenting their business ideas in South Korea in December.
School of Management, Tribhuvan University (SOMTU) is an autonomous institution that is responsible for operating a full-time professional MBA program. Currently, it has been operating four different MBA programs: Master in Business Administration (General), Master of Business Administration in Information Technology (MBA-IT), Master of Business Administration in Global Leadership & Management (MBA-GLM) and Master of Finance and Control (MFC).
