Chitwan Medical College is set to hand over the ownership of its newly established PCR test laboratory to the government amid increasing infection cases of coronavirus. Started a year ago, the laboratory is all ready to operate, said the College administration.
A letter agreeing to hand over the ownership of the laboratory to the government has been sent to the Ministry of Health and Population some days ago, said the College's Chairperson and Managing Director, Prof Dr Harish Chandra Neupane.
This help is under the social corporation responsibility of the College, he said. More than 200 swabs could be tested at the laboratory on a daily basis, he said.
