Ambassador Essay Writing and Speech Competition held



Kathmandu, March 4 (RSS): The Pakistan Embassy in Kathmandu has organized the 7th Annual Ambassador of Pakistan Essay Writing Competition and 3rd Annual Ambassador of Pakistan Speech Competition. 

Chief Guest Professor Dr. Damber Bahadur Nepali, Kathmandu University gave away awards to winning students at a function held in the capital on Monday. 

Miss Mallika Humagain, Miss Spriha Baral and Miss Anita Rai won the top prizes in Essay Writing Completion whereas Mr. Roshan Nepal, Miss Sunika Adhikari, Miss Urusha KC and Miss Manjeeta Gurung won prizes in Speech Competition. Winners were awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals in addition to rupees NRs. 50,000, 40,000, 35,000 and 25,000 for each competition separately. 22 Runners up were given consolation prizes of NRs. 5,000 each, according to a statement from the Embassy. 

A large number of Nepalese students from Higher Secondary Level (10+2) of University level participated in the ceremony. 

Chief Guest Professor Dr. Damber Bahadur Nepali appreciated the efforts of Embassy to convey the message of Pakistan’s friendship to Nepalese youth. Ambassador Dr. Mazar Javed greatly admired the talent and potential of the participants.
